ESL Tutoring
Make a lasting impact by teaching English to a small group of students online. As a Teach to Lead tutor, you'll work with approximately 10 students, helping them build confidence and communication skills through engaging weekly lessons. Required fluency in English and Spanish, reliable internet connection, patience​, and availability that aligns with U.S. Central, Eastern, or Pacific Time (CST, ET, or PT).

No prior teaching experience is required. We'll provide guidance and resources to help you succeed.

Staff Team

All positions are volunteer-based and require a high level of commitment (up to 10 hours weekly). Members receive volunteer hours, leadership experience, networking opportunities, and the chance to create meaningful impact through education and youth empowerment. Weekly reports are required.
Outreach Coordinator
Help expand Teach to Lead’s impact by building connections with organizations, schools, and communities across Honduras and Central America. Spanish-speaking applicants are strongly preferred. This role requires strong communication skills, initiative, and a high level of commitment.
Grants Director
Lead the search and application process for grants, leadership opportunities, awards, and conferences on behalf of Teach to Lead. Ideal for someone organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about nonprofit growth and educational impact.
Video Graphics Coordinator
Create engaging reels, short-form videos, and visual content for Teach to Lead’s social media and campaigns. Perfect for creative & passionate individuals & those who love showing up on camera.
Director of Schools
Focused on building partnerships with public and private schools across Honduras to expand educational opportunities and programs. Honduras-based applicants only. Strong professionalism and communication skills are required.
Events Coordinator
Manage and organize events from planning to execution, including community outreach activities, campaigns, fundraisers, and educational events. Honduras-based applicants only. Ideal for highly organized and proactive leaders.
Camps
Help create unforgettable learning experiences for children across Honduras by volunteering at one of our seasonal camps! Our Summer and Winter Camps take place in different communities throughout the country, combining English learning, leadership, creativity, and fun.

Support Tech Distribution
Materiales con Corazon is a program led by Tessa Lagos which provides school supplies and hygiene kits to those in rural areas and undeserved places in Honduras. Under ODI, she has been able to provide 300+ kits to students. Help her by following her on social media to know the next donation openings.
